You're an awful misrepresentation of reality
(Editor's Note: Just for the heck of it, this letter to the editor has been treated differently, "special" one might say, from other letters in the past. It gave
us such a warm fuzzy feeling, we figured we'd include our response to Bob along with his encouragement.)

| Editor: | I'm the man behind the mask, so to speak, but you already seem to have decided I'm not "responsible." |

| Bobby: | I am shocked at your slanderous accusations towards the president of your university and mine. |

| Editor: | A good shock is not always a bad thing. But more on that in a minute.

| Bobby: | I am on a first name basis with Judith and can vouch for her as an upstanding and caring woman. |
|
| Editor: | Can you quote one serious thing I or anyone else involved in The...TRUTH has said about her personally? The only issues involved on a serious level have been her dealings with the University. And there is plenty of room to debate motive and feelings. There are more than two sides to every story, you know. |

| Bobby: | I find it disgusting that you chose her as a victim for your childish and idiotic website. |

| Editor: | That is certainly your right. I find it disgusting that classes can be taught here at NMU by people who don't know the subject material, but it happens. I find it disgusting that a university can be run more as a business than a school, but many are. |

| Bobby: | I guess it's just easy to pick on people who have something worthwhile to do with there lives. |

| Editor: | This strikes me as being a little of the "pot calling the kettle black" here. Aren't you doing what you accuse in this very email? You're certainly coming across as very judgmental of someone you don't even know. |

| Editor: | You know, your words have caused in me a change of heart. I denounce the evil path I have purposefully and eagerly walked up to this point and seek the wisdom of the structure of society. Can you please guide me to a suitable teacher of the true path? By your words I have faith that you know exactly how I and my flock should think and feel, and I only await your direction before humbly seeking the light.
I don't know what your religious background is, but based on your letter, you would make a very good fundamentalist christian. I'm sorry to use such harsh words, but I call 'em like I see 'em.
