Reader Unsatisfied With NMU Stall Drawings

   When I attended Michigan Tech, I never knew how good I had it. When we had to use the bathroom facility, it was always an exciting few minutes. We would draw schematics and new design ideas on the stall's walls, and leave notes indicating which professors were the most educational and helpful. Here, all I see are pictures of Satan and jokes about poop.

   Where is the intelligence on this campus? Why must we be subject to such lower class idiocy? Are there no men with artistic abilities that have to use the restroom?

   What I would like to propose is this: for the next month, let's all pick a building that was built in the early 1900's, and find a unique part of it's architecture to share on the stall walls. I'm sure the Library has enough books.

   In closing, let me just say that we could learn a lesson from our sister University in the North-West area of Upper Michigan. If we allow ourselves to slide into such a pit of talk-show entertainment, we'll never get out. Come on, NMU, let's be creatively educational!
